Halloween 2017…Sassafras Style!

We hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Halloween celebrating with their boys and ghouls! And if you’re like us, then you had a stellar breakfast this morning of Twix, Snickers and double espressos! Hello, November!

We’ve spent the morning sharing photos from last night (and last weekend for some of our party people!) and thought we’d let you in on the fun! Looks like our Sassafras teammates and their families had a blast– all the way from Kansas City to Jacksonville and points in between!

Sassafras families out and about!

“My kids all somehow escaped to go trick-or-treating before I could take pictures. Actually, I got one, my daughter Elliot at her school party. She was Taco Tuesday. My oldest was a boombox head, and my middle son was Kylo Ren. We had three neighbors, some friends, and my brother and his family over to our driveway for a firepit and chili. We sit and visit while the kids go to get candy and some of us go with the littles. Traditionally, we set out a table with buckets of candy so trick-or-treaters don’t miss out on the loot from our houses!”–Ashley Scherzer

“The Annual Holton Halloween Bash was last weekend– 95+ guests! Geoff and I went as Twisted Sister and we had a lip-sync contest. Halloween night these 5 little “things” were running around the neighborhood!”–Jenny Holton

“I stayed home with a glass of wine (or two) and handed out candy to all the neighborhood kids while my kids trick or treated!”–Sara Rhodes

“Emma dressed up as Princess Aurora! We went trick or treating, got Emma’s face painted and played at Whole Foods while mommy enjoyed a yummy coffee. I also took to the streets this past weekend as Super Woman and finished my 1st half marathon in a brisk 38 degree, 17mph windy morning in Atlanta.  I am proud to say that I came in 11th in my age group!”–Tara Mercado

“We spent Halloween with some great friends trick-or-treating through the neighborhood on a hayride. Lots of kids and tons of candy!”–Jessie Devine
