Sassafras is excited to introduce to you our new Account Director, Tamie! Tamie is from the Kansas City area and brings a wealth of knowledge and client management experience from previous roles. It’s always fun getting to welcome new members on board and share them with all of you! Here’s a little more about Tamie:
What do you like most about working at Sassafras?
I’ve been here a couple of weeks and everyone has been very welcoming and willing to help. It’s a great team dynamic.
Your hometown postcard—what’s on it?
I’ve been in the KC area since college, so the postcard would include the KC Royals, KC Chiefs, and Sporting KC along with some pics of delicious BBQ!
Who is your hero and why?
I admire anyone who stands up for what they believe in, will speak the truth, and do so in a kind and respectful way.
What book are you reading right now?
Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens.
Name an interesting thing about yourself that others might not know.
I love 80’s hair bands.

Is there a particular project or work product you are most proud of?
I’m excited to be part of a very talented, hard-working team. I look forward to building relationships with my clients and seeing where this journey goes.
Describe your ideal Saturday!
Going for a walk/hike with the family followed up with breakfast out. Then ending the day with family and friends having a few drinks on the patio.
You’re leaving town for a very, very long time…where would you dine for your last meal and what would you eat?
We just found Jarocho Authentic Mexican Seafood. It is delicious! I would have the Blue Crab Queso for an appetizer and the Shrimp Chipotle for an entrée.
