Meet Sarah McNamara, Sassafras Account Manager!

Say Hello to Sarah!

Sassafras Marketing is so lucky to have an amazing team chock full of talented folks.  These folks work tirelessly to deliver the most creative, knock-your-socks-off story design for our clients! One of our team members is Sarah McNamara and like several other Sassy team members, she hails from The Bluegrass State.  We tip our caps to Sarah- a hard worker, innovative thinker, lover of good music and all-around wonderful soul!

What do you like most about working at Sassafras?

The people. We have such a great group – we have so much fun together and I am very proud of the work we do as a team.

Your hometown postcard—what’s on it?

Horses, Bourbon & Bluegrass!

Who is your hero and why?

My parents. They are kind, patient, caring, hardworking and have taught me so many valuable lessons in my life. As a parent, I constantly strive to be like them.

What book are you reading right now?

Every night we read a few pages of Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls to our daughters. It is a brilliant book that highlights the amazing lives of 100 women from the past and present. They love learning about how these women have changed history by being strong, independent women. And I love seeing their faces light up as they dream about how they can change the world. It is a very powerful book.

Name an interesting thing about yourself that others might not know.

Although I am scared of heights, I loved skydiving!

What is your favorite website or app?

Apple music. I have to listen to music throughout the day. It’s good for the soul.

Is there a particular project or work product you are most proud of?

We have such a diverse range of projects it is hard to pick just one.

Describe your ideal Saturday.

A lazy Saturday morning at home, brunch with my family and grilling out with friends in the evening.

You’re leaving town for a very, very long time…where would you dine for your last meal and what would you eat?

Steak Frites at my favorite French restaurant and a nice glass of red wine.
