Meet Jessie Devine, Sassafras Account Manager

We are thrilled to welcome our newest team member, Jessie Devine! We like to think that it’s serendipity that her horse is named Coca! Her energy, enthusiasm, love of family and love of a good steak dinner make her a perfect fit for our team. Welcome, Jessie!

  1. What do you like most about working at Sassafras? So far, my favorite thing about working at Sassafras has been the people. Everyone I’ve met has been so welcoming and helpful. I also like the work ethic that everyone has here. You can see from the professionalism and quality of work that everyone loves what they do and are always producing the best work possible.

  2. Your hometown postcard—what’s on it? Mt. Washington, KY, which is a small, quaint town just outside of Louisville. I’m a small town junkie!

  3. Who is your hero and why? My grandpa, Grandpa A. I’ve always looked up to his willingness to do whatever was needed or asked of him. His work ethic and fierce love for his family are inspiring.

  4. What book are you reading right now? QBQ by John G. Miller.

  5. Name an interesting thing about yourself that others might not know. I grew up on a farm with lots of horses! I rode horses with my cousins almost daily. My horse, Coca, stays at my parents’ barn.

  6. What is your favorite website or app? Instagram or Pinterest.

  7. Is there a particular project or work product you are most proud of? The brainstorm and planning projects we’ve been doing for Dollar General have been really fun. I’ve also enjoyed working with creative on some large scale regional meeting materials for Dunkin’ Brands International.

  8. Describe your ideal Saturday! My husband and I have two boys, so our ideal Saturdays involve spending time as a family. You can usually find us at the baseball field or outside swimming, doing yard work, or just hanging out. I also love interior design, so I am constantly moving things around or restyling a room. Saturdays are good days for HGTV and a little redesign.

  9. You’re leaving town for a very, very long time…where would you dine for your last meal and what would you eat? I would have to make reservations at Ruth’s Chris so I could overindulge on a filet with blue cheese crumbles and a fancy cosmopolitan.
