Andi Oliver Represents Sassafras at CinemaCon!

Recently, Sassafras Account Director Andi Oliver spent a week attending, working and playing at CinemaCon in Las Vegas. CinemaCon is the largest and most important gathering for the worldwide motion picture theater industry. It’s a global event that attracts attendees from more than 80 countries, including theater owners, operators, and movie studios who are there promoting upcoming releases.

Another exciting tidbit about CinemaCon is that Sassafras is the creative genius behind a lot of the Coca-Cola creative that’s displayed throughout the show.

Andi told us about the dizzying amount of all-things-cinema that were represented there (basically anything having to do with a movie!)

  1. exhibition

  2. distribution

  3. marketing

  4. publicity and advertising

  5. internet and social media

  6. theater equipment like seating and carpets

  7. concessions manufacturers and dealers

Andi, Sassafras’ Director on the theater business, attended the convention and tradeshow, held March 27-30, 2017.  Our client, Coca-Cola,  serves product in over 90% of all movie theaters, so it makes good sense that she attend! Coca-Cola was the Official Presenting Sponsor of CinemaCon 2017 and is one of the industry’s greatest and highly regarded and respected partners in the world of the movies. While there, she helped the Coca-Cola team prepare for events and assisted with creative work on the tradeshow booth itself.

Because CinemaCon was held in Vegas, and because Andi loves to smile and have a good time, she found time after hours to unwind with her Coca-Cola teammates!

This is Andi’s 3rd year attending CinemaCon, and Sassafras’ 6th year supporting Coke on CinemaCon. She always does a great job representing Sassafras, walking away with new contacts, engaging with clients, and educating our team when she gets back!
